Let’s take care of the place we love to photograph. Do what you can to slow the effects and causes of over consumption, pollution produced by greed, ignorance and carelessness.
Whether toxic waste, nuclear power, or oil there are ignorant and uncaring offenders at every level. Each accidental or deliberate act at any scale reduces the Earth’s ability to sustain life. A photographer’s perspective.
It seems to me that the only way that art will ever be able to do its job is if everyone of us are on the same page.

While photography has given us the tools to express a new perspective, the very nature of experience means we cannot count on anyone understanding our position completely.
A good photographer knows that something interesting is imminent, present and/or just about to happen. It is something in the air, the light, the dynamics of the present moment that somehow comes together in order to fabricate a special instant of time and space.
