Now ONLY 2 days before WPPD. Are you ready?
I am planning to have at least a few cameras ready to shoot. Hope the weather will be nice and sunny and that I’ll find some interesting subjects to shoot.
Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day is a day to celebrate the simple and magical imaging technique of pinhole photography. I would encourage anyone who is thinking of participating, to also consider all the possibilities that pinhole offers for creativity and artistic resourcefulness.
There is much more to pinhole than you might imagine. Nothing wrong with doing it digitally with a pinhole adapter.Sometimes it is just too easy to simply use your DSLR and a pinhole adapter. However, There are tons of other ways to participate. If you do use a pinhole on your digital camera, you might try seeing what else you can do to make the image obtained more interesting. The above image was shot with a self made pinhole mounted to a mirrorless camera and in post processing, the image was taken into a digital paint program to enhance the image.
For an even bigger experience, you should try a box or a tin of some sort and create your own pinhole , shutter and technique.
Have a look at my pinhole posts. They might open your eyes to what you might do.
