All it takes is some imaginative use of the equipment you probably already own. Photography is about light. It is also about enlightenment. Neither of these requires much more than a box and a lens to capture.

In designing anything, usability is what you try to incorporate into the thing being designed. Functionality is always more important than what a product looks like.

If you are looking for a great street camera, portrait maker, or a fantastic option to your DSLR, the a7 is at least for me, a pretty perfect camera. It does just about everything I need it to do for nearly all of the kinds of photography I love to shoot. And it does it pretty darn well.

Photography is a relatively new art form. It has only been around for a bit over a century and a half. In the scheme of almost every other form of the arts, that is a very small amount of time. In many ways, photography owes itself to all the arts that came before it.

Is there anything missing on the cameras made today that you would like to have on your dream camera?

In the new world of camera and phone apps much of what some people think is creative happens because of software engineers who appropriated those looks from the real creative artists who originated them. Not that anyone seems to care.

That ownership that companies seem to exploit, including the one mentioned above, has some very negative connotations that perhaps should be addressed.

I use them for different reasons. Digital is convenient and modern but film gives me some things that digital has yet to fulfill.

One of the most irritating things in photography is that annoying little screw hole on the bottom of nearly every camera ever built.
