ArtMatic is a software package that I find extremely addictive. Over the years, I have found endless uses for this amazing program.

Among a thousand other things, ArtMatic can produce incredible textures. These textures can be used as overlays in Photoshop and other programs for a multitude of effects. Whenever I need a texture to enhance an image, I immediately start up ArtMatic and in few minutes, I can generate spectacular patterns, grains and shapes.

Please read – Disclosure

I will be revealing many more things about ArtMatic and the ArtMatic suite from UISoftware in upcoming posts.

Textures are only the beginning. This program and its siblings can be used to animate graphics and images, produce sound effects, generate landscapes and make music. Each piece of their software can be used to generate something useful for the next. When linked to the rest of their suite, there is no end to the possibilities for photography, video, design, sound creation and music.

I’ve been an ArtMatic user for years. But I also play with the rest of their software. I love mixing it up with other great software such as Photomatix Pro and Photoshop.

If you want to check out all of the unbelievable things this program can do and learn about the other programs they make, visit their website: Welcome to U&I Software

I cover ArtMatic, HDR, Photomatix Pro and many other topics in my book – Great Photography Gift Idea for the Holiday.
